Morgan studied biology at the University of Florida and then did a PhD in Immunology at Duke University. Generally, Morgan is interested in how immune cell fate decisions are regulated and how this becomes dysregulated in disease contexts. At Duke, Morgan’s PhD work focused on understanding the transcriptional regulation governing the effector programs of gut resident lymphocytes in Dr. Maria Ciofani's lab. Currently, she is continuing her training as a postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Dr. Bana Jabri (BSD), and co-mentored by Samantha Riesenfeld (PME)
